Stanton is a highly practical and insightful exploration of raising sons and daughters to be uniquely who they are by God's design, even in the midst of a gender-confused world. Stanton begins from the assumption that both genders were created in the image of God. Therefore, each gender is important, and raising boys and girls to be secure in who they are as boys and girls is vital to a healthy upbringing.
As the father of a daughter and two sons, I could see the gender-specific characteristics in my children that Stanton outlines in the book. I'm encouraged in the ways my wife and I can help guide our daughter and sons into healthy manhood and womanhood.
